No ordinary RV, the Paradise Independence is a home on wheels built into an 8.1-metre Iveco Daily 70C chassis, expanded by dual slide-outs. This extensive interior requires serious power to run its suite of luxury appliances, including two air-conditioners, a Nespresso coffee machine, an Electrolux 8kg/4.5kg washer-dryer combo and a comprehensive communications array with a Starlink Gen3 system and three HD TVs.
To meet these high-power demands, Paradise Motor Homes equips the Independence Platinum with a powerful duo: a 10kW EcoFlow lithium power kit with 1140W of solar generation, supported by the USR 4kVA TEC40 inveter generator.

The USR Honda Tec40: Power on Demand
USR designed this Tec40 inverter-generator fitted with a Honda motor specifically for luxury RVs, emergency vehicles and mobile businesses. At maximum output, it draws up to 1.3L of unleaded fuel per hour from its 20L tank to deliver a steady 3600W, with a 4000W surge capacity for starting demanding appliances. To ensure quiet operation, it features an inline fuel filler, a lockable filter, and a remote muffler, keeping noise levels to a quiet 54-59 dB at 7 metres.

Mark Rixon from Paradise Motor Homes highlights the system’s simple, integrated design.
1. Starting the Generator
Paradise Motor Homes installs the USR Honda Tec40’s control panel in a convenient overhead cabinet inside the motorhome.
“Simply turn the power button ‘on’ [and] press ‘start’, and you now have 240V supply to all the appliances,” Mark explains.
2. Topping Up the Fuel Tank
Refuelling the generator is as easy as refuelling your vehicle. Paradise Motor Homes integrates a flush-mounted, external fuel cap on the driver’s side for direct access to the 20L unleaded petrol tank. This design eliminates the need for handling separate fuel cans.
As Mark says, “There is an external fuel cap… for making it easy to fill the 20L unleaded petrol tank.”
